Each pack contains 464g of food which is approximately 2 cups.
The packs can be defrosted in the fridge overnight. Once defrosted, keep the food refrigerated and use it within four days. Please read all ingredients carefully as our recipes may contain allergens not suitable for your dog.
Dogs do not need their food heated up. You can serve Puppy Gang Fresh Food cold once it is defrosted, or if you prefer you can slightly warm it up as well. It is already cooked, so you do not need to re-cook it.
If you store the food in a sealed container it should remain good to use for up to 4 days, similar to human food.
As our food is vacuum sealed, it lasts longer in the freezer than food stored in other ways. Therefore, our food can be frozen for up to 9 months before use.
Yes, you can however where possible we do recommend nutrient cycling. Our meals have been designed with a holistic veterinarian and animal nutritionists to ensure that they contain the required nutrients for dogs. Just like us, dogs benefit from different proteins, fruits and vegetables in their diet. We therefore recommend that you provide your dog with the different meals to maximise their nutrients.
Yes, our meals have been designed with your pup’s health in mind in conjunction with a holistic veterinarian. You will recognise all ingredients in our meals - which is important! They are hormone and antibiotic free meat with organ meat and natural calcium, organic supplements such as kelp powder and whole fruits and vegetables to give your pup the nutrients they need.
Each ingredient is high quality and locally sourced.
Our recipes contain a mix of macro and micronutrients found in whole meats, fish, fruits and veggies. As a result, the only mineral that we include is kelp powder which is all natural. Kelp powder is a leading source of iodine which is a trace mineral needed for healthy thyroid function. Kelp powder contains manganese, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, as wella s vitamins A, B-12, B-6 and C.
Other companies have carbohydrates such as pasta, white potatoes and rice - is this needed for my pup?
Dogs do not need carbohydrates in their diet, these are used by other companies as a cheap way to bulk up the calories of the meal.
Proteins, fruits and vegetables meet the nutritional needs of your pup.
No dogs need refined carbohydrates, therefore pasta can be considered a ‘filler’ and take away from the nutrition that your pup needs. Other grains can also be considered a filler for most dogs, which is why we have specifically not added any of our recipes. However, some larger dogs may need some additional calories through grains added to their diet. To determine whether your dog needs grains in their diet please consult with a veterinarian.
Our packs come in any sizes ranging from 7 packs up. Once you have tried our meals and know how much food you require, we suggest you 'subscribe and save' to receive a discount on your order and you can set your delivery frequency as often as you need. You can change, pause or cancel at any time.
Yes! You can pause your subscription through your account page.
Yes, you can purchase on an as-needs basis or on subscription. We do recommend a subscription which locks in additional savings for you. You can easily adjust, postpone or cancel your order at any time if you need to.
You can make changes to the meals you have ordered, frequency or volume at any time through your account or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your charge date. Once your order has been processed we are unable to make any changes.
We deliver directly to your door across all of Canada. We use insulated boxes which will keep your product frozen.
Your pup’s frozen meals will be delivered to you in insulated boxes which will give you a longer period before needing put them in your freezer, however we do suggest that you retrieve them and put them back in the freezer within 1 hour so that they do not start to defrost.
If they do start to defrost as long as they are still very cold to the touch you can safely place them back in the freezer.
